What will ACTA change?

ACTA will change many things, including how you watch gaming videos. There are millions of hours of gaming footage on YouTube and it should stay like that but if ACTA is accepted it will change everything, anything showing footage of something you don't own or created yourself will be flagged and considered illegal. Websites like Facebook and N4G itself would be under risque of termination and maybe even some users who posted content with copyrighted material. The popular Machinima style of filming may also be a thing of the past and every time you make a simple non-profit (and/or profitable) video it will be taken down and your account may be terminated.

ACTA will basically be a supervisor watching your every move and deciding if something is acceptable to watch. The will even be able to shutdown a website without a court approval if they think it may be a type of infringement of some sort.

We managed to set back SOPA & PIPA, thanks to help from Google, wikipedia, N4G, but this ACTA act is much more aggressive and is a global security plan that will change the internet in general. We should be thankful that many thousands of people are protesting in Poland, Paris, Ireland, Sweden and many more places to protect our rights of freedom. If you want to get involved I recommend following http://youranonnews.tumblr.com/ for updates about global protests.

The world is slowly getting polluted with rules and someone even compared our current situation to the "V for Vendetta" movie read the article here.
